The annual power generation capacity reaches 100 billion kilowatt hours

It is reported that CGNPC's Xing'an League's 300 million kilowatt wind power base has installed 701 wind turbines in the old revolutionary base area of Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, providing more than 100 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity every year, reducing standard coal consumption by about 296.802 million tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.25 million tons, which is equivalent to afforestation of 50,<> hectares, and the whole life cycle of the project has contributed more than <> billion yuan to the tax revenue of Xing'an League, which has significant economic and ecological environmental benefits.

CGNPC's Xing'anmeng 300 million kW wind power project was constructed in two phases, and the foundation pouring of the first wind turbine was completed on April 2020, 4. On September 10, 2020, the first wind turbine hoisting was completed; The first phase of the 9 million kilowatt wind power project installed 23 wind turbines, which was put into operation on June 100, 229; The second phase of the 2022 million kilowatt wind power project installed 6 wind turbines, the booster station was successfully energized on November 29, 200, and the second phase of the project was put into operation on December 472.

Explore new paths for high-quality development

Su He, deputy secretary of the Xing'an League Committee and head of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, said that the full-capacity operation of CGNPC's Xing'an League's 300 million kilowatt wind power base project is a concrete embodiment of the win-win development of the central and local cooperation, and has injected strong impetus into the high-quality development of the new energy industry, the vigorous development of social undertakings, and the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization in the Xing'an League.

"CGNPC's Xing'an League's 300 million kilowatt wind power project is an excellent answer sheet for the economic and social development of the Xing'an League's old revolutionary base area and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, based on the cooperation between the central government and the local government, and reflects CGN's determination to continue to play the three roles of scientific and technological innovation, industrial control and safety support, and strive to be the leader of the modern industrial chain and build a world-class enterprise." Yang Changli, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CGNPC, said.

Achieve a number of industry firsts

According to reports, CGNPC's Xing'an League 300 million wind power project is the country's first new energy project through DC 800kV UHV transmission and consumption, equipped with the first 1000MVA (megavolt ampere)/500kV three-phase integrated main transformer in China's new energy industry, which effectively drives the upstream technological innovation of the industrial chain.

It is worth mentioning that the project has also achieved a number of other industry firsts in the field of new energy in China, which is the first onshore wind power project with 500kV voltage level access to the power system, the first wind power project that receives multi-level dispatching at the same time and provincial dispatch, the first wind power project that adopts distributed condenser, and the first intelligent wind farm that uses 500kV substation one-key sequential control technology.

"With the successive commissioning of CGNPC's Xing'an League's 300 million kilowatt wind power base and other projects, it is expected that by the end of 2023, CGNPC's domestic installed capacity of new energy in operation will reach 4500 million kilowatts." Zhang Zhiwu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CGN New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., said that CGN's domestic new energy business fully covers wind power, photovoltaic, solar thermal, pumped storage, energy storage, hydrogen energy and other types, and more than 30 new energy projects distributed in 570 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country continue to export green power.
