Nabiullina said this during a speech at the XX International Banking Forum.

"Let me remind you that we have the right to suspend sales of certain products, to demand a buyback if these products were sold in bad faith," she said on the regulator's website.

According to the head of the Central Bank, in the spring the regulator revealed a number of violations in the sale of insurance and investment products by banks.

Nabiullina stressed that in the autumn such inspections of banks will continue. She added that in case of repeated violations, the Central Bank may apply "tough measures" to the violator.

Earlier, Nabiullina, when asked about the possibility of raising the key rate, said that the decision would depend on the situation in the Russian economy.
