The reporter learned from the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Affairs Office that the propaganda video of Shenzhen and Nanshan District was played at the economic and trade exchange meeting, and the representative of the Shenzhen Municipal Commercial System Economic and Trade Representative Office in Europe introduced the latest business environment and industrial characteristics of Shenzhen and Nanshan District. A number of experts, scholars and representatives from the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences, the Swiss Academy of Sciences, the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the Innovation Agency of the Canton of Vaud, and the Biopole Industrial Park in Lausanne introduced the Swiss scientific research and innovation system. The Shenzhen delegation held project negotiations with a number of representative Swiss start-up technology companies, and the two sides focused on the investment environment and investment opportunities. Participants spoke highly of the leading infrastructure, strong innovation capabilities, business-friendly environment and abundant talent resources of Shenzhen and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Before the economic and trade exchange meeting, the Shenzhen delegation visited the Lausanne Biopole Industrial Park, the largest biomedical incubator in Switzerland, to promote biomedical exchanges and cooperation between the two places.
