From 9 to 25 September, an accounting delegation composed of representatives from the Hong Kong Institute of Business Accountants and CPA Australia Greater China Branch visited local accounting firms in Hainan to deepen cooperation in the field of professional services between Hong Kong and Hong Kong.
A number of accountants from the accounting circles of Qionghong Kong and Hong Kong said at the meeting that there is broad prospects for cooperation between Qionghong and Hong Kong, especially in fiscal and taxation reform, fiscal finance, accounting services, etc., there is still room for further deepening cooperation between Qionghong and Hong Kong.
CPA Australia Greater China Branch President Lui Zhihong is the head of the delegation. He said that as an international financial center, Hong Kong has rich industry experience in professional services and other fields, which can provide relevant reference and assistance for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. The 30-member delegation, including those engaged in auditing, taxation, accounting and forensic services, private equity and venture capital funds, digital assets, environmental, social and governance (ESG) and other fields, hopes to help Hainan enterprises improve the internationalization level of professional services through the exchange of industry knowledge and sharing practical experience, and help enterprises "go global" and "bring in".
At the meeting, CPA Australia Vice President of Greater China Branch Yip Yunkai introduced Hong Kong's latest explorations in the financial sector, including Hong Kong's experience in developing family office business and Hong Kong's active promotion of green and sustainable finance products, hoping to bring more cooperation space between Hong Kong and Hong Kong.
