"The main symbols, which were selected by expert groups, are reflected on banknotes. I can also say that banknotes of 1,5 and <>,<> rubles will retain their color palette," Belov said.
At the same time, he added that the conceptual design of the updated 500-ruble banknote was also developed. The release of this banknote is planned for next year, in the near future the corresponding version of 500 rubles will be submitted to the board of directors.
Earlier, the head of the department for the examination of banknotes of the main department of the Bank of Russia in the Central Federal District, Andrei Oksenchuk, dispelled myths about new banknotes in denominations of five and ten rubles.
