Beijing, September 9 (Reporter Pan Xulin) The reporter learned from the 21th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange Conference opened on the 20th that the first domestic hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicle carbon emission accounting project was officially launched. The project aims to provide data support and scientific basis for carbon emission trading of hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicles, and help the development of hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicles.

The project, jointly launched by Guangdong Guangsheng Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangsheng Hydrogen Energy), a provincial state-owned enterprise, together with the Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, Tsinghua University, Hangcha New Energy and CIMC Hydrogen Energy, completes the "Carbon Footprint Evaluation Report of Hydrogen Fuel Cell", "Carbon Emission Reduction Accounting Report of Hydrogen Fuel Industry Forklift" and "Carbon Emission Reduction Evaluation Report of Hydrogen Energy Forklift" by carrying out carbon emission accounting for hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicles, which is conducive to improving the scientific and standardized carbon emission reduction data of hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicles.

On the same day, Guangsheng Hydrogen Energy and Hangcha New Energy launched a new 45-ton hydrogen fuel cell reachstacker at the exhibition, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement on port application and supporting support with CIMC Hydrogen Energy and Tianyang New Energy. This product is the world's first largest hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicle lifting equipment, which not only fills the international gap in this field, but also solves the pain points of high energy consumption and high emissions of large-scale lifting equipment in ports, and contributes new forces to the construction of smart ports and green ports.

According to the "China Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry Development Report 2022" released recently, in 2022, China's hydrogen fuel cell vehicle sales volume will increase by 3367,12682 units, and the number of ownership will reach 36,358 units, a year-on-year increase of about 40%; <> hydrogen refueling stations were built, a year-on-year increase of more than <>%. The report believes that the progress of hydrogen energy application in industry and power generation has accelerated, and promoting the construction of supply chain with large-scale industrial application will become an important starting point for the development of China's hydrogen energy industry.

Experts said that with the development of China's green and low-carbon industry, the application of hydrogen fuel cell technology in the field of industrial vehicles has begun to enter the practical stage. At present, hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicles still have problems such as high acquisition and use costs. Through the market-oriented operation mechanism, it can promote the carbon emission trading of hydrogen fuel cell industrial vehicles, so that operators can obtain additional benefits, especially in the early stage of development, which will help further reduce costs, promote large-scale development, and increase market share.
