The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in 2023 are coming. Local market supervision departments should attach great importance to food safety supervision during the festival, adhere to the problem-oriented, strengthen risk awareness, tighten and compact the main body and territorial management responsibilities of enterprises, strengthen supervision and inspection and sampling monitoring, make every effort to investigate hidden risks, severely punish violations of laws and regulations, effectively ensure food safety, and ensure that the people spend a happy and peaceful holiday season. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Strengthen the supervision of production links. In view of the characteristics of seasonal foods such as mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival, strengthen the supervision of the production process; Increase the frequency of supervision and inspection of bulk food production enterprises such as rice flour oil, meat, eggs and milk, urge enterprises to strictly implement food safety management system specifications, focus on checking key points of risks and hidden dangers, and ensure that the production process continues to comply and products meet safety standards.

2. Strengthen supervision of business links. 3. Strengthen food sampling and monitoring.
