On the same day, the parallel forum of the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum "Global Benchmarking Incubator Forum - Discussion and Practice of Frontier Incubation Model" was held in Beijing. The G<> Entrepreneurship Research Center and the Institute of Economics and Resource Management of Beijing Normal University jointly released the "Global Urban Entrepreneurship Incubation Index" to comprehensively evaluate major innovation and entrepreneurship cities from the aspects of incubation potential, incubation performance and incubation ecology.

It is reported that the "Global Urban Entrepreneurship Incubation Index" is the world's first index report focusing on evaluating the ability of urban entrepreneurship incubation, aiming to provide a systematic, objective, authoritative and forward-looking incubation index evaluation for major innovation and entrepreneurship cities, and form a barometer and compass for the development of global urban entrepreneurship incubation.

According to the evaluation results of the Global Urban Entrepreneurship Incubation Index, New York, London, San Francisco, Beijing, Boston, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Chicago ranked among the top 10 in terms of comprehensive scores in the Entrepreneurship Incubation Index. Among them, the top four New York, London, San Francisco and Beijing have obvious advantages.

According to the scores of the China Urban Entrepreneurship Incubation Index, Beijing, the Yangtze River Delta city cluster and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are the central areas of business incubation in China. Among them, Beijing leads the country in half of the specific indicators.

At the event, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Zhongguancun Management Committee and the German Taibei signed a strategic cooperation agreement, clearly supporting the landing of the Taibei China Headquarters and the International Industrial Collaborative Innovation Center in Beijing, and the two sides comprehensively deepened cooperation in international technology transfer, business incubation, industrial cultivation and enterprise international development services.
