Tangshan, May 5 (ZXS) -- News from Porto, Portugal: In the early morning of May 25, local time, CRRC Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CRRC Tangshan Company) overseas test technical team successfully completed the dynamic limit and dynamic performance test of metro trains in Porto, Portugal. This is the first time China has completed such a test in an EU country.

It is understood that at the beginning of 2020, CRRC Tangshan signed a cooperation project with Porto Metro Company to produce marshalled metro trains for Porto Metro Company and provide 5-year maintenance services, which is the first time that China's urban rail vehicles are exported to EU countries.

Vehicle dynamic limit and dynamic performance are important technical parameters related to the driving safety of rail transit vehicles, and are one of the most important test items before the operation of subway passengers. According to Zhang Guolong, head of CRRC Tangshan's test technology team, since late March this year, the team has investigated and analyzed the Porto metro line and decided to use the "operating skylight period" every morning to carry out the dynamic test of the new metro train. For the first time, the dynamic limit test scheme that can accurately measure the dynamic envelope of the vehicle is adopted, and the simulation analysis of the harshest working conditions is combined with the test verification to carry out comprehensive tests on the dynamic performance and safety performance of the vehicle.

After more than 50 days of hard work, CRRC Tangshan Company successfully completed the dynamic limit and dynamic performance test of metro trains with four different rail profiles on all 6 lines of Porto Metro, and completed the two-car convergence test in special curved sections such as turnouts and ramps. According to the test results, the Chinese-made Porto metro vehicles have excellent performance in terms of operation quality and stability, and have better limit passing performance, becoming the only vehicle model of Porto Metro that can operate both compatible and cross-line.
