At dusk, the sea breeze blows, and countless offshore oil fields shine on the vast Bohai Sea, like stars in the Milky Way. Among this group of offshore oil fields, there is a special old oil field: Qinhuangdao 32-6 oil field. Although it has been exploited for more than 20 years, it is the first smart oil field offshore China. As an experienced "old miner", Qinhuangdao 32-6 Oilfield has stood firmly on the skyline to meet every new challenge after years of ups and downs.

With the continuous improvement of China's offshore oil and gas exploration and development technology, on October 2021, 10, this offshore "old miner" completed the first phase of intelligent transformation, injecting new vitality into himself and shining with new brilliance. Now, Qinhuangdao 15-32 Oilfield is like an intelligent offshore factory, through advanced technical means, it has realized many functions such as automated production, digital monitoring and intelligent management, and promoted oilfield operation and management to be more efficient and accurate.

When May Day International Labor Day is coming, Sun Hao, director of the CEPI platform of Qinhuangdao 32-6 Oilfield, won the 2023 Tianjin May Day Labor Medal. Over the years, as a skill expert, Sun Hao has made outstanding contributions to the stable operation and intelligent transformation project of this "old miner" with his profound professional knowledge and skills. He not only performed well in managing oilfield production, improving technological flow, increasing production capacity, etc., but also always paid attention to the skills training of employees, people-oriented, so that the production efficiency of oilfield was continuously improved, and the work quality and safety awareness of employees were guaranteed and improved.

Through thick and thin, the old oilfield has gradually broken through the predicament

"In fact, before the intelligent transformation and upgrading of Qinhuangdao 32-6 oilfield, many challenges were encountered, such as the increase in moisture content after the oilfield was put into production, and the problem of low oil prices. However, these difficulties have been overcome one by one, and the intelligent oilfield is regarded as a new challenge for the oilfield, and the green intelligent oilfield construction project has been implemented in the offshore oilfield for the first time, which has taken a valuable step to explore the future development direction of the oilfield. Sun Hao said.

The four seasons rotate, the cold and the summer alternate, decades have passed, Sun Hao has become an old friend of this oil field. From ordinary operator to process engineer, from the person in charge of the overall implementation of the Bohai Century project to the platform director, he has raised more than 430 problems of block supervision and accumulated considerable work experience. And with his deep participation, an intelligent transformation was carried out for the oilfield.

Speaking about the Bohai Century project, Sun Hao said, "This is the most important and last project of the oilfield before the implementation of the intelligent project. After the implementation of a series of targeted transformation projects, including new water injection equipment for the two facilities of Century and WHPA, offshore pipe throughput verification, optimization and adjustment of water injection processes on various platforms, new sewage reinjection wells, and oil well transfer, the oilfield has laid an important foundation for the "Bohai Oilfield Environmental Protection Upgrade Three-Year Action Plan" of CNOOC Tianjin Branch.

Intelligent transformation explores new directions for the future of oilfields

"When the Bohai Century project is completed, the oilfield will quickly carry out intelligent transformation projects." Sun Hao said that the intelligence of the oilfield is mainly reflected in the increase in the intelligent monitoring of the oilfield power grid and electrical components, which greatly improves the stability of the power grid.

Sun Hao said that the optical fiber communication network of the oilfield will be more complete after the intelligentization of the oilfield, and based on the construction of the Internet of Things at the production site, focusing on the core assets of oil and gas such as oil and gas reservoirs, equipment and facilities, relying on the intelligent oilfield technology platform to comprehensively assist asset management and benefit optimization, establish "real-time perception of oilfield, comprehensive coordinated oilfield, active management of oilfield, overall optimization of oilfield", combined with the transformation of production organization mode and business management process optimization, to create a new offshore oil and gas exploitation operation mode of "intelligent, safe, green and efficient" to maximize the value of oil and gas assets.

Data sharing application, intelligent safety management, equipment and facility management, intelligent sub-injection and production, and remote collaborative command are the five characteristics of the intelligent oilfield. Sun Hao said: "After intelligence, we can realize data sharing such as production dynamics, reservoir injection and production, and ship meteorology; And the personnel safety and risk monitoring can also be changed from 'passive' to 'active'; at the same time, management personnel can also grasp the real-time status of platform equipment at any time; and the intelligent sub-injection and distribution remote control system has also increased the oil field by 1200 square meters. ”

In August 2022, the trackless intelligent robot "joined" the main distribution room of the oilfield CEPI platform for the first time to carry out real-time monitoring of the status and parameters of the enclosure. Sun Hao told reporters that the trackless robot is more mobile than the traditional robot, it integrates visible light camera, infrared temperature monitoring, partial discharge monitoring, voiceprint recognition, remote operation five functions, can carry out autonomous inspection, diagnosis and early warning, remote operation of the power equipment in the room. The inspection results will be transmitted to the intelligent oilfield management system through the network, and all intelligent oilfield clients can grasp the operation status of the power distribution system in real time.

The use of intelligent inspection robots not only improves the status monitoring and early warning capabilities of power distribution equipment, but also reduces the safety risks of manual operation of power distribution equipment, laying the foundation for the subsequent realization of unmanned management of electrical rooms on offshore platforms.

Shore power into the sea to create an information highway for intelligence

"Previously, employees at sea could only communicate with their families via satellite phone, which lasted about 10 minutes at a time and often required queues. Since the shore power project and the intelligent oilfield, the 4G network signal of offshore facilities has reached full coverage, and communication with families is much easier, and you can also share your life situation and work with your family. Sun Hao said.

It is understood that at the beginning of the operation of the oil field, the platform uses crude oil generators to generate electricity by itself, consuming about 12,2021 tons of crude oil per year. In 13, the oilfield implemented a shore power demonstration project, and all <> crude oil generators in the oilfield were shut down, and optical fibers were connected from land to the oilfield. The project is CNOOC's first offshore shore power application project, and it is also the world's offshore oilfield with the highest AC transmission voltage and the largest shore power project so far.

In 2021, in order to ensure the smooth access of shore power and expansion projects, the largest shutdown and maintenance in the history of the oilfield was carried out as scheduled. As a professional leader, Sun Hao coordinated the safe and efficient promotion of various work on the spot, and fought for two consecutive days and nights without closing his eyes.

Sun Hao said: "Every offshore oil man is like a pipeline in an oilfield, which can not only smoothly guide the flow of oil and gas, but also withstand the challenges of high pressure, and strive to ensure that the oilfield can carry out intelligent upgrades safely, efficiently and stably." ”

In addition to his oilfield work, Sun Hao is also a skilled craftsman. He was awarded the title of National Technical Expert in 2018, and participated in the establishment of the operator technician innovation studio, with more than ten apprentices. Two apprentices were successfully promoted to senior technicians, and one of them also won the title of National Technical Expert.

Sun Hao said, "In my spare time, I also teach my apprentices various practical skills in the innovation studio, and efficiently use my time off to deal with family affairs and give my family enough companionship." These are the satisfaction and fulfillment that come with work. ”

With the continuous efforts of countless offshore oilfield people, this old oilfield has successfully rejuvenated the "second spring", moving steadily towards intelligence, green and efficiency, and also taking a valuable step to explore the future development direction of offshore oilfields. (End)
