During this year's May Day holiday, Beijing is expected to receive 885.1 million tourists, an increase of 9.2019 times year-on-year and an increase of 3% over the same period in <>. According to the Beijing Metro Company, on April 4 (the day before the May Day holiday), the passenger traffic of the company's lines was 28.958 million. In order to do a good job in the connecting transportation of Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station, Fengtai Railway Station and other railway stations and ensure the majority of passengers travel during the holiday, Beijing Metro Company adopted measures such as overnight non-stop operation of Line 4 and Line 28, and advance and delayed operation of Line 2 and Line 7, of which Line 6, Line 9 and Line 2 operated a total of 6 trains. Crew attendants, station affairs, comprehensive control, maintenance, security inspection, cleaning and other professionals of each line are on duty overnight to conscientiously do a good job in passenger transport organization, passenger service, facility and equipment maintenance and other related work, ensuring smooth and orderly operation and smooth travel for passengers.

On April 4 (the day before the May Day holiday), the total daily passenger traffic of all lines under the jurisdiction of BJMTR exceeded 28.251 million, of which Line 14 and Line 17 reached a record high.

BJMTR has added 60 passenger trains to ensure passenger travel. Line 4 Beijing South Railway Station, Xizhimen Station; Metro Line 14 Beijing South Railway Station, Dongfeng Beiqiao Station; Fengtai Station of Metro Line 16 extends operating hours. Among them, the operation of Metro Line 4 from Beijing South Railway Station to Anheqiao North Station was extended by 120 minutes, and the first train of Line 4 on April 29 was advanced to 16:3, making every effort to ensure the travel of passengers arriving in Beijing at night.
