On the same day, the 6th CIIE Service Trade Exhibition Area Inspection and Testing Industry Promotion Conference was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). Liu Fuxue said at the press conference that inspection, testing and certification (TIC) is an internationally accepted quality management means and trade facilitation tool, a basic system for strengthening quality management and improving market efficiency under the conditions of market economy, and as an important technical support for economic and social development, it plays a very important basic role in maintaining social and public safety, promoting the quality of products and services, protecting consumer interests, and promoting industrial upgrading.
"TIC industry has always been the main part of the service trade exhibition area of the Expo, and in the past five years, many leading enterprises in the international TIC industry have participated in the exhibition, introducing many new products, new technologies and new services to the Chinese market, and strengthening the professional service category of the Expo." Liu Fuxue said.
Xu Min, chief representative and secretary general of TIC International Council for Inspection and Testing and Certification China, told China News Agency that the Expo provides a stage for global enterprises, brands and products for the Chinese market, and several member companies of TIC International Council for Inspection and Testing and Certification have confirmed to participate in the sixth CIIE, looking forward to them showing many innovative solutions and finding more business opportunities on this stage.
