In the airline industry, where passenger demand is recovering after being sluggish due to the coronavirus pandemic, an induction ceremony was held for the first time in three years at Japan Airlines with all job categories in attendance, and about 3,6 new employees, more than six times as many as last year, renewed their determination.

Japan Airlines' management deteriorated due to the influence of the new corona, and for two years last year, except for some positions such as pilots, we did not hire.

In anticipation of a recovery in passenger demand, new employees were hired for the first time in about three years in all positions, and approximately 2,3 people, including group companies, attended the entrance ceremony held at the hangar at Haneda Airport on March 3, more than six times as many as last year.

At the ceremony, the new employees held a paper airplane with a message of encouragement from their seniors and flew it all at once with the shouts of "Take off" to renew their determination.

Some new employees waited for the resumption of hiring cabin crew and changed jobs from other industries.

One of them, Seran Serizawa, said, "I remembered various things during the period when I was not hired due to the Corona disaster, and now I am full of gratitude. I want to become a cheerful and friendly flight attendant."

Yuji Akasaka, president of Japan Airlines, said, "We are sorry that there were many people who wanted to enter the aviation industry but could not join the company due to the Corona disaster, but we would like to hire many people in the future.
