Blocking deposits...

This phenomenon can be explained by a blockage of depots or a delay in supply, linked to the strike movement against the pension reform in the refineries. Other regions have been impacted, such as the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and the Pays de la Loire.

Delay in supply...

For Île-de-France, the refueling of kerosene at Paris airports explains the shortage of gasoline or diesel at some service stations. "This pipeline pumping has been delayed because since the beginning of the social movement, we have been in degraded activity, especially for the supply of pipelines to depots in the Paris region. Last week, it was necessary to do an emergency pumping on the airports of Paris, to the detriment of the delivery of lead-free in Île-de-France. It is a matter of a few days for stocks to be replenished," explains Olivier Gantois, President of UFIP Energies and Mobility.

And as is often the case, the increase in precautionary purchases accelerated the decline in stocks at stations. Stations currently supplied with diesel. This will soon be the case for unleaded. The forecasts of specialists are optimistic, since Wednesday only 5 of the 200 French oil depots were still blocked.
