Until Wednesday, March 22, the Franchise Expo Paris show is held in the capital to promote franchising. An economic model that allows the French to launch their business, with many advantages. Europe 1 went to L'Onglerie Courbevoie in the Paris region and met Nina, director of the institute.

Do you want to start your own business? So why not opt for the franchise? Among those who want to embark on the entrepreneurial adventure, more than four out of 10 French people plan to do so in franchising, according to the latest study by the French Federation of Franchising with Banque Populaire. This week, in Paris, the Franchise Expo is being held, to publicize this model with many advantages. Europe 1 went to L'Onglerie Courbevoie in the Paris region and met Nina, the head of the institute.

Behind the reception desk, she answers calls, with an eye on the schedule of her two employees. Since becoming an entrepreneur, Nina sometimes swaps her nail file for her computer. "What I mainly do is file my invoices for my accountant, or set aside everything necessary to prepare payslips," she told Europe 1.

Moral and strategic support from the brand

She performs these administrative tasks between appointments because she also continues to provide care. This is synonymous with a busy schedule, but one that she manages serenely, thanks to the support of her franchisor. "I can always call headquarters and say 'there I received such and such mail', we also have accounting partners, legal partners. And the rates are more attractive when it is negotiated by the franchisor," says Nina.

Donate 10% of turnover

The franchise also gives him access to the brand's customer file. All these aspects are a real support for the former art student who embarked on entrepreneurship three years ago. To open her franchise, the leader had to pay 15,000 euros in entrance fees to the institute. And that's not all: "Every month we have 10% of our turnover that is donated to the franchisor. Once a year we have visits from the franchisor. We have to use the brand's products too." But this does not stop Nina at all since she will soon open her second nail.
