Most of the
French detained in Iran
were arrested long before the protest movement that started nearly six months ago.
However, during a press conference, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanani accuses the French of having played a role in these events.
A usual rhetoric from the Iranian power: “
Those who were arrested in Iran played a role in the events that shook the country.
Their actions are against the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Ongoing Discussions

of interference and has taken destructive positions regarding recent events in Iran.
Obviously, these positions and the measures taken by France will not help in the negotiations for the prisoners.
