Chinanews, Urumqi, March 13th (Reporter Yan Wenlu) Through years of hard work, Xinjiang has built a 750 kV ultra-high voltage provincial-level power grid with the largest coverage in the country and the largest span from east to west, realizing full coverage of all states. While transforming the advantages into economic advantages, it will strongly support and serve the overall situation of national power supply guarantee.

The transmission voltage is generally divided into high voltage, extra high voltage and ultra high voltage.

High voltage usually refers to a voltage of 35 to 220 kV, ultra-high voltage usually refers to a voltage of 330 kV and above and below 1000 kV, and UHV refers to a voltage of 1000 kV and above.

EHV power grid construction tasks will reach a historical peak

Since the State Grid Corporation of China launched the "Xinjiang Electricity Transmission" project in 2010, Xinjiang's power grid construction has achieved a historic leap, and has successively built the Xinjiang and Northwest main grid interconnection 750 kV first and second channels, and Changji-Guquan ± 1100 kV UHV DC transmission project, Hami South - Zhengzhou ± 800 kV UHV DC transmission project "two AC and two DC" delivery channels.

At the same time, it continued to improve the core backbone network structure, accelerated the construction of power grids at all levels, and formed a main network structure pattern of "four ring networks for internal supply and four channels for external transmission".

According to the latest statistics, Xinjiang currently has a total installed capacity of 121 million kilowatts, ranking first in Northwest China and seventh in the country; Xinjiang's electricity transmission capacity has reached 25 million kilowatts, covering 20 provinces and cities including Chongqing, Jiangsu, Sichuan, and Hunan.

As of 2022, Xinjiang Power's external power transmission has accumulated 125.66 billion kWh, and new energy external power transmission accounts for more than 30%, playing an active role in ensuring the safe and reliable supply of energy across the country and preventing and controlling air pollution.

The 750 kV main network is the main force of the "inner supply four-ring network", covering Hami in the east, Bozhou and Yili in the west, Altay in the north, and Kashgar and Hotan in the south, covering all prefectures.

At present, a total of 44 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects have been completed in Xinjiang, including 26 substations with a line length of 9,051 kilometers and a transformation capacity of more than 73 million kVA. Optimize the allocation capacity to effectively guarantee the development needs of electricity and energy and power resources in various regions of Xinjiang.

It is reported that in order to meet the electricity demand for economic and social development and serve the high-quality development of the autonomous region, State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. has continuously increased its investment in power grids. In 2023, it is estimated that the investment in ultra-high voltage power grids will be about 4.813 billion yuan, with a total of 15 projects under its jurisdiction. , the length of the new line is 3158.4 kilometers, and the substation capacity is 21 million kVA.

EHV power grid construction tasks will reach a historical peak.

These include the start of a number of key projects such as Bazhou-Tieganlik-Ruoqiang, the commissioning of nine 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects such as Ganquanbao, Yili-Bozhou-Wusu-Fenghuang II, and the full promotion of Tacheng-Wu Su and other 750 kV power transmission and transformation project construction progress.

The new project promotes the interconnection of large power grids in Xinjiang and Qinghai

The Bazhou-Tieganlik-Ruoqiang 750 kV power transmission and transformation project has recently started in Korla City, Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. This is the first ultra-high voltage power grid construction project to start in Xinjiang Power Grid in 2023. The power grid project with the largest single investment in the voltage transmission and transformation project is expected to be completed and put into operation in December 2024.

The Bazhou-Tieganlik-Ruoqiang 750 kV power transmission and transformation project is a key project in the autonomous region to promote the electrification of Xinjiang and serve the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt. It is an important part of the construction of the 750 kV ring network project around Tarim in Xinjiang .

In the later stage of the project, it will be connected with the 750 kV power transmission and transformation projects from Ruoqiang to Qiemo and Qiemo to Minfeng to form a 750 kV large ring network around Tarim, which will further optimize the main grid structure in southern Xinjiang, and provide the coal, electricity, oil and gas scenery in the Tarim Basin Provide grid support for the development of storage resources and promote green development.

In recent years, focusing on the national positioning of "three bases and one channel", Xinjiang has vigorously developed renewable energy, focused on building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system, promoted the conversion of superior resources, and accelerated the establishment of a demonstration of coal, electricity, oil, gas, wind, wind and storage integration and a ring around Tarim Ten million kilowatt-level clean energy supply guarantee area.

The above-mentioned "three bases" refer to large-scale oil and gas production, processing and storage bases, large-scale coal and coal chemical industry bases, and large-scale wind power bases; "one channel" refers to the country's large land channel for energy resources.

The Bazhou-Tieganlik-Ruoqiang 750 kV power transmission and transformation project will be constructed in Bazhou, Xinjiang, around the southeast side of the Tarim Basin. 90% of the project will be located in areas with harsh natural environments such as Gobi, desert, and wasteland. Power builders will be accompanied by extreme heat, severe cold, sandstorms and other weather, erecting towers and erecting wires to build substations.

More importantly, relying on this project, Bazhou will form a 750 kV hub-type backbone power grid pattern "connecting to the north, extending to the south, extending to the west, connecting to the east", which will strongly support the construction of the third AC transmission channel of Xinjiang power grid, and promote the construction of Xinjiang and Qinghai. The large power grids are interconnected, and the AC transmission capacity is further improved.

By 2025, the 750 kV regional network and the main grid structure in Xinjiang will be further strengthened. Xinjiang will build two 750 kV AC transmission channels starting from Hami, and one 750 kV AC transmission channel starting from Ruoqiang, Bazhou. The AC outgoing channel realizes three-channel networking with the Northwest Power Grid.

The 750 kV main grid in Xinjiang is further extended to the north and south. At the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan", the main grid structure of "seven rings for internal supply and six channels for external transmission" has been formed, which provides a basis for transforming Xinjiang's energy advantages into economic advantages. Powerful momentum.
