In his opinion, such a statement by the ex-president of Ukraine can be regarded as a threat to Hungary.

Through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia receive oil from Russia, and in transit through Hungary and Croatia - Serbia.

Earlier, Poroshenko proposed blocking the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline.

In December, the Polish oil refinery Orlen announced its readiness to cancel contracts for oil supplies from Russia in 2023.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak called Poland's behavior in the oil and gas market a theater of the absurd.
