The government did not support the idea of ​​the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to increase the corporate income tax rate

The Ministry of Finance explained that additional market revenues were formed not in the entire economy as a whole, but only in its individual sectors and individual taxpayers.

“Accordingly, the effect of such a measure for different sectors of the economy will be unequal,” the ministry added, quoted by TASS.

As First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov said earlier, the government is discussing with big business a voluntary one-time contribution to the Russian budget.
