　　In January 2023, China's express delivery development index was 265, an increase of 1.5% compared with the same period in the lunar calendar last year.

Among them, the development scale index, development ability index and development trend index were 290.2, 202.4 and 103.6, respectively, an increase of 19.4%, 0.9% and 27.7% year-on-year, and the service quality index was 356.4.

　　In the first ten days of January, driven by the good holiday consumption, the industry continued to operate stably, and the express delivery business volume (December 31, 2022 to January 2, 2023) increased by 15.2% compared with last year's New Year's Day holiday. Breaking through 400 million pieces in a row, the market ushered in restorative growth.

Around the Spring Festival is the off-season for the express delivery business. Since January 14 (the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month), the market size has dropped from the usual level.

During the Spring Festival holiday (January 21-27), about 410 million express parcels were received, an increase of 5.1% compared with last year's Spring Festival holiday, and about twice that of the same period in 2019.

　　In January, the Express Development Capability Index was 202.4, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%.

According to reports, express delivery companies have accelerated the construction of cross-border transportation capacity, opened two international routes "Ningbo-Bangkok" and "Ningbo-Hanoi", realizing cross-border "end-to-end" direct delivery, and the service timeliness and radiation range of the Southeast Asian market have improved.

The sea freight LCL business expanded to Côte d'Ivoire, Africa, and the intercontinental service capability was further enhanced.

　　Recently, various parts of China have successively introduced policies to promote consumption and smooth circulation, and consumer demand has rebounded rapidly, and the vitality of market development has increased.

The report predicts that the express delivery industry will achieve rapid growth in February.
