Gas, electricity, fuels, inflation has affected all French people for many months.

To allow its inhabitants to save money, the town hall of Bourg-lès-Valence, in the Drôme, has just created the "house of purchasing power".

A place where residents can benefit from different offers on mutual insurance and insurance at reduced prices.

A first in France.

To help its constituents save money, the town hall of Bourg-lès-Valence (Drôme) has decided to create the "purchasing power house".

Thanks to the town hall, which negotiates the rates, the inhabitants can benefit from various advantageous offers, in particular on mutual insurance and insurance.

Martine, a resident of the area, went to the "house of purchasing power" as soon as it opened.

She has chosen to have her house fitted with a remote alarm system and wants to take advantage of a reduced price offer negotiated by the town hall.

"It's true that it's interesting. Because it will save us almost 1,000 euros a year. It's worth it because the house will be secure and we will save money on the price that we should have pay. And the more of us there are to join, the less we will pay," she said at the microphone of Europe 1.

Valuable help from the town hall

Precisely, in Bourg-lès-Valence, the number of good plans increases day after day.

"We have mutual health insurance. But also health insurance for animals. And we will soon be offering home insurance. As well as insurance for cars, motorcycles, bicycles and electric bicycles. Discounts can range from 10 to 50% depending on the devices", reported the mayor LR of the city, Marlène Mourier.

"With all these increases, the situations are difficult for people today. And we think that thanks to the city, the inhabitants can benefit from savings. It is part of the missions that we must have for our inhabitants" , she added.

The town hall is already working, for next winter, on an offer of domestic fuel oil at contained prices.
