Oil and gas revenues of Russia in January amounted to 426 billion rubles, they decreased by 46% by January 2022.

According to the Ministry of Finance, this is primarily due to a decrease in quotations for Urals oil and a decrease in natural gas exports.

At the same time, non-oil and gas revenues amounted to 931 billion rubles.

According to preliminary estimates, the volume of budget expenditures in January amounted to 3.117 trillion.

In January, the department announced that the expenditures of the Russian federal budget for the implementation of national projects as of January 1, 2023 amounted, according to preliminary estimates, to 3.269 trillion rubles.

President Vladimir Putin called the task for 2023 to maintain a positive trend in the development of the economy.

According to the IMF, in 2023 the Russian economy will increase by 0.3% of GDP, which is 2.6% better than the forecast for October last year.
