[Explanation] The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China issued a notice a few days ago, announcing that starting from February 6, national travel agencies and online travel companies will be resumed on a pilot basis to operate Chinese citizens' outbound group travel and "air ticket + hotel" business in 20 countries.

At 14:50 on February 6, the first batch of outbound tourists from Chengdu took a flight from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport to Phuket, Thailand, starting a 6-day island trip.

This is Sichuan's first outbound travel team after the resumption of the pilot outbound group tour.

  At about ten o'clock in the morning, the reporter saw in the international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan departure hall of the T1 terminal of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport that there was a long-lost lively scene here. Many tourists arrived in advance, and the excitement was beyond words.

  I am a student, and in the past three years, many travel plans have been interrupted due to the epidemic.

We originally planned to go out to play when we graduated from high school, but it didn't work out. I hope this trip to Thailand can make up for the regrets of the past three years.

  [Explanation] Dai Ximing's family of three has made full preparations for this outbound trip. Mother Chen Lan is also preparing to bring swimsuits, snorkeling suits, straw hats, sunscreen, etc.

Dad Dai Zhong told reporters that it is not the first time to go out to play, but this time his mentality has changed a lot.

  [Explanation] On the same day, Zhang Nan, deputy director of the Chengdu Office of the Thailand National Tourism Administration, made a special trip to the scene to see off the plane, and took a group photo with the first group tourists.

Zhang Nan told reporters that after China announced policies on outbound tourism, Thai tourism companies are ready to welcome Chinese tourists to Thailand.
