According to him, there were no casualties after the shell hit the station.
Demin added that the Novozybkovo station is used at maximum load on Druzhba, the last time it worked last year.
“The Druzhba oil pipeline is operating normally,” TASS quoted him as saying.
On the evening of Tuesday, January 31, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to shell the Novozybkovo oil pumping station in the Bryansk region.
The head of the Russian Ministry of Energy, Nikolai Shulginov, said that there were no problems with pumping oil through the Druzhba oil pipeline after the attempted shelling.
