The steel structure elevated along the line has been formed, connecting the mountains, water, forests and fields in the central ecological corridor of Optics Valley.

  According to Zhou Rui, director of the production engineering department of China Railway Heavy Industry and manager of the Wuhan Optics Valley Air Rail Project Department, the first phase of the Optical Valley Air Rail Tourist Line project starts at Jiufengshan Station on Guanggu 4th Road and ends at Longquanshan Station. The function is positioned as The tourism and leisure line in the ecological corridor takes into account the transportation function.

The total length of the first phase of the project is about 10.5 kilometers, and there are 6 stations on the whole line.

  The 9 long-span bridges on the whole line not only endow the bearing and line control functions to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of vehicles, but also adhere to the landscape design requirements of "one bridge, one scene". Steel truss bridges, continuous girder bridges and twin-tower cable-stayed bridges, as well as under-supported arch bridges spanning the expressway around the city and gas pipelines. One project has absorbed steel bridges of various structural forms, and it can be called a steel bridge in central China. Structural Bridge "Museum".
