The fund's analysis says that in 2022, Russia did not experience the previously predicted economic downturn of 3.4% - now it is estimated at 2.2%.

It will be followed by moderately positive growth in 2023, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the forecast, in 2023 the Russian economy of Russia will increase by 0.3% of GDP, which is 2.6% better than the forecast for October last year.

Earlier, the IMF said that the introduction of a price ceiling would not significantly affect Russian oil exports, as Moscow redirected flows to countries that did not join the restrictions.
