The reporter learned from the meeting that there are a total of 1,530 key construction projects planned in Guangdong in 2023. Among them, there are 102 key projects in Guangdong Province in Dongguan, with a total investment of 415.8 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), and a planned investment of 47.34 billion yuan in 2023.
In order to promote high-quality development, Guangdong held a province-wide high-quality development conference on the first day of work after the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit. A number of major projects at the conference became an important starting point for Guangdong's high-quality development.
Among them, Dongguan has a total of 102 key projects in Guangdong Province, with a total investment of 415.8 billion yuan.
In 2023, in the field of new infrastructure, Guangdong Province will accelerate the construction of three major science cities including Songshan Lake in Dongguan. In the field of modern comprehensive transportation, Guangdong will build 7 projects including the bridgehead to Shatian section of the Dongguan-Panyu Expressway. In the field of energy security , Guangdong will make every effort to strive for about 13 million kilowatts of backbone power sources such as Dongguan Ningzhou to be put into production on schedule.
Dongguan Songshan Lake Science City is the main bearing area for the construction of a comprehensive national science center in the Greater Bay Area, and an important fulcrum for the construction of an international science and technology innovation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Next, Guangdong will accelerate the construction of three major science cities including Songshan Lake in Dongguan.
The Dongguan-Panyu Expressway Qiaotou-Shatian section project is a key construction project in Guangdong Province and is an important part of the S6 Guanglong Expressway.
The total length of the project is about 64.48 kilometers, and the total investment is about 22.166 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will become another important east-west corridor in the Pearl River Delta region, which has great practical significance for improving the level of transportation interconnection in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Dongguan Ningzhou Plant Site Alternative Power Supply Project is an alternative power supply project for Shajiao Power Plant, with a total investment of more than 5 billion yuan. The project is located on the west side of Ningzhou Sewage Treatment Plant in Humen Town, Dongguan City. After completion, it will be the gas-fired power plant with the largest single unit capacity in China. The only 9HA.02 gas turbine project currently under construction in China.
Dongguan City is known as the "World Factory" because of its developed manufacturing industry and perfect industrial chain. The start of construction of these key projects will make Dongguan's economic strength to a higher level.
