RBC reported a significant increase in the number of transfers of individuals from Russia to neighboring countries

The Russians transferred the equivalent of about $0.8 billion to Kazakhstan last year, which is 579% more than in 2021.

In 2022, individuals from Russia transferred 2.6 times more funds to Uzbekistan than in the previous period, more than four times more to Armenia, and 2.6 times more to Uzbekistan.

In September, the Central Bank of Russia extended until March 31, 2023 restrictions on the withdrawal of funds abroad.
