  According to incomplete statistics from The Paper, more than 20 provinces have recently released data on per capita disposable income of residents in 2022.

  Residents' disposable income refers to the sum of residents' final consumption expenditure and savings, that is, the income that residents can use for free disposal, including both cash income and income in kind.

According to the source of income, disposable income includes salary income, net operating income, net property income and net transfer income.

Beijing and Shanghai approached 80,000 yuan, and Zhejiang broke 60,000 yuan for the first time

  In 2022, the per capita disposable income of Shanghai and Beijing residents will exceed 70,000 yuan, far ahead of other provinces.

Statistics show that the per capita disposable income of residents in Shanghai will reach 79,610 yuan in 2022, approaching 80,000 yuan, ranking first in the country.

Beijing is second only to Shanghai, ranking second in the country, at 77,415 yuan.

The per capita disposable income of residents in Beijing will exceed 70,000 yuan for the first time in 2021, while Shanghai will break through the 70,000 yuan mark in 2020.

  In 2022, the per capita disposable income of residents in Zhejiang will cross the threshold of 60,000 yuan for the first time, reaching 60,302 yuan.

The per capita disposable income of residents in Jiangsu, Tianjin, and Guangdong last year exceeded 45,000 yuan, which were 49,862 yuan, 48,976 yuan, and 47,065 yuan respectively.

Fujian is also in the 40,000 yuan camp, at 43,118 yuan.

The per capita disposable income of urban residents in Zhejiang and Jiangsu in 2022 will be in the camps of 70,000 yuan and 60,000 yuan, respectively.

The per capita disposable income of urban residents in Guangdong, Fujian, and Tianjin in 2022 will be in the range of 50,000 to 60,000 yuan.

  From the perspective of the per capita disposable income of rural residents, the data in Shanghai, Zhejiang and Beijing will exceed 30,000 yuan in 2022, and Zhejiang will be higher than Beijing. Judging from the currently published data, the provinces with per capita disposable income of rural residents in the range of 20,000 to 30,000 yuan in 2022 include: Tianjin (29,018 yuan), Jiangsu (28,486 yuan), Fujian (24,987 yuan), Guangdong (23598 yuan), Shandong (22110 yuan) and other provinces.

  From the perspective of the urban-rural gap across the country, the income of rural residents continues to grow faster than that of urban residents.

In 2022, the per capita disposable income of urban residents will be 49,283 yuan, a nominal increase of 3.9%, and a real increase of 1.9%; the per capita disposable income of rural residents will be 20,133 yuan, a nominal increase of 6.3%, and a real increase of 4.2%.

The nominal and real growth rates of per capita disposable income of rural residents were 2.4 and 2.3 percentage points faster than that of urban residents, respectively.

The income ratio of urban and rural residents dropped to 2.45 from 2.50 in the previous year.

  From the perspective of different regions of the country, the income of residents in the central and western regions has grown rapidly.

In 2022, the economic development of the central and western regions will be relatively less affected by the epidemic, and the prices of energy and raw materials will remain high, driving the per capita disposable income of residents to increase by 6.0% and 5.3% respectively, 1.0 and 0.3 percentage points faster than the growth rate of national residents' income.

The per capita disposable income of residents in the eastern and northeastern regions increased by 4.5% and 2.9% respectively.

Taking the western region as 1, the ratio of per capita disposable income of residents in the eastern and western regions decreased from 1.62 in the previous year to 1.61, a drop of 0.01, and the relative income gap between regions continued to narrow.
