This was stated by the head of the NOC Farhat Bengdara.

"Today's agreement involves the development of gas fields with reserves of about 6 trillion cubic feet and a production capacity of 750 million cubic feet per day for about 25 years," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Bengdara specified that the agreement "provides for an investment of $8 billion over three years."

Earlier, representatives of Italy and Algeria signed an agreement on the construction of a gas pipeline, also suitable for transporting hydrogen.
