On the eve of the Spring Festival, a reporter from China News Agency conducted a field visit.
More than 200,000 people are running at full capacity in two shifts
On the morning of the 19th, the reporter saw in a production workshop in the park that rows of production lines were running at full power, and workers were busy nervously, with natural and skillful movements.
"The daily arrival rate is more than 98%, and there are about 2,000 people per shift." Dai Hongming, the production manager of Foxconn Zhengzhou Science and Technology Park, introduced that the current production is at its peak and the production is very smooth.
The smart workshop of the "Lighthouse Factory" is also busy with production, and the robots keep loading materials back and forth.
Lei Feng, senior manager of the Resource Planning Department of Foxconn Zhengzhou Science and Technology Park, said that in 2021, the Zhengzhou factory will be included in the World Economic Forum (WEF) "Lighthouse Factory" list.
"Lighthouse Factory" represents the cutting-edge level of intelligent manufacturing and digitalization in the global manufacturing industry.
"From material loading to production to shipment, this process has been fully automated." Lei Feng said, "At present, our production has returned to the state before the epidemic, and it has been running at 100%. In order to meet production, we only rest during the Spring Festival. Two days."
In an interview with a reporter from China News Agency, Wang Xue, deputy general manager of Foxconn Zhengzhou Science and Technology Park, said that the current order is sufficient, and the production situation has reached a seasonal peak state and exceeded the previous level.
At present, the manpower in the park has reached more than 200,000 people in the peak period, and two shifts are used for full-load production.
Various dishes in the restaurant
At noon, in the K15 restaurant, the employees were eating.
In addition to a variety of dishes, there are also many local specialties and snacks.
"The food is rich, there are many kinds, and it is also very delicious." Jin Chengyuan, a dining employee, told the reporter, "I plan to go home for the New Year, and I will come to the factory (to work) as soon as the New Year is over. The factory sent us 6,000 yuan (RMB, the same below) New Year’s gift package, and some New Year’s gifts such as dried fruits.”
During the Spring Festival this year, the park gave a subsidy of 6,000 yuan to returning employees, and a subsidy of 13,000 yuan to the left-behind employees.
Guo Feng, the on-site director of the K15 restaurant, said that the restaurant with an area of more than 9,000 square meters can accommodate nearly 30,000 people every day.
During the Spring Festival, the restaurant will also prepare "hard dishes" such as elbows, roast chicken, and prawns for left-behind employees.
Wang Xue said that in order to allow employees to eat well during the Spring Festival, the company provides New Year dining subsidies and New Year snack gift packs to each employee on duty, so that left-behind employees can spend the New Year with peace of mind.
During the Spring Festival, Zhengzhou Airport District will also distribute 20 million yuan of "remaining red envelopes" in the form of electronic red envelopes to left-behind employees of Foxconn and other key enterprises.
Strong flavor of the new year inside and outside the factory area
High-hanging red lanterns, fiery red Chinese knots, festive mascots... On the afternoon of the 19th, Zhengzhou officials organized a "Culture Enters Thousands of Households New Year Culture Enters Foxconn" event, and sent "Blessings" and "Foxconn" to left-behind employees. Chinese and foreign classic programs such as "Swan Lake", and calligraphers from the Zhengzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles splashed ink on the spot to present Spring Festival couplets, which is full of New Year flavor.
"I didn't expect to enjoy the concert in the factory!" An employee who watched the performance said so.
Previously, from January 9th to 17th, the park also held a "New Year's goods festival", providing candies, snacks, braised products, etc., so that employees can buy New Year's goods on the way to get off work.
According to Wang Xue, in terms of festive entertainment, the company fully understands the needs of employees and has prepared a variety of offline and online activities, such as happy garden tours, fun sports games, and dumpling-making competitions.
At the same time, Zhengzhou Airport Area will also ensure that the entertainment venues such as movie theaters, Internet cafes, and KTVs around the park are normally open during the Spring Festival, making the cultural life of employees more colorful.
Based in Zhengzhou in the future, deeply cultivate Henan
Since Foxconn settled in Zhengzhou in 2010, it has driven more than 1 million local employees, and has driven more than 200 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to settle in Zhengzhou Airport Area, becoming Zhengzhou's pivotal 100-billion-level pillar industry.
