A "

technical incident

" affects different Cajamar services from early Thursday morning, such as its digital channels and means of payment, which have been "temporarily inoperative."

As reported by the financial entity on its social networks, Cajamar customers

can make cash withdrawals through ATMs and card payments in shops

"We regret the inconvenience we are causing as a result of this incident," the entity says in its messages.

The "incident" occurred

during the early hours of Thursday

when scheduled maintenance tasks were carried out, which affected the development of the internal processes of their systems, explains Cajamar.

"Faced with some erroneous opinions and comments, we inform with total clarity and transparency that the current situation

is not the result of a cyberattack

but of an internal technical incident originating in a scheduled maintenance process," adds Cajamar in its publications, according to EFE.

Throughout the last 24 hours, Cajamar has indicated at different times that it is working to restore normality, although for the moment the financial services affected in branches, digital banking and means of payment have not yet been restored.
