2022 is another bumper year for the development of new energy vehicles in my country, which is mainly reflected in the following aspects.
First, the market scale is leading the world.
The annual production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 7.058 million units and 6.887 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 96.9% and 93.4% respectively, ranking first in the world for eight consecutive years; sales of new energy vehicles reached 25.6% of the total sales of new vehicles.
This data is still very gratifying, and the development momentum of new energy vehicles is still very strong.
The second is an effective breakthrough in key technologies.
The energy density of mass-produced power batteries has reached 300 Wh/kg, which is at the international leading level.
The peak power density of the drive motor exceeds 4.8 kW/kg, and the maximum speed reaches 16,000 rpm. These indicators indicate that the level of our key components has been greatly improved.
Especially in lidar, artificial intelligence chips, smart cockpit, etc., the technology has also made great breakthroughs and reached the international advanced level.
Third, the brand competitiveness has been greatly improved.
In 2022, the domestic market sales of self-owned brand new energy passenger vehicles accounted for 79.9%, a year-on-year increase of 5.4 percentage points; the export of new energy vehicles was 679,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 times.
my country accounts for 3 of the top 10 enterprise groups in terms of global new energy vehicle sales, and 6 of the top 10 enterprises in terms of power battery installed capacity. Our competitiveness and brand effect have gradually emerged.
Fourth, the environment of supporting facilities is increasingly optimized.
As of the end of 2022, a total of 5.21 million charging piles and 1,973 battery swapping stations have been built across the country, of which 2.593 million charging piles and 675 battery swapping stations will be added in 2022. The construction of charging and swapping infrastructure has been significantly accelerated.
At the same time, we have established a total of more than 10,000 power battery recycling service outlets, basically achieving recycling nearby.
