The American technology giant Microsoft is preparing a workforce adjustment that could affect 5% of its around 220,000 employees, which would imply the elimination of some 11,000 jobs, as reported by Sky News.

The British chain has indicated that, if confirmed, the workforce adjustment plan will probably be announced before the company presents its quarterly accounts on January 24.

For his part, Bloomberg pointed out, citing anonymous sources familiar with the situation, that the multinational plans to eliminate jobs in various engineering divisions.

In this sense, although the magnitude of the cuts could not be specified, this source indicated that the reduction will be significantly greater than others in the company, which
