After a series of successful tests in a few stores, Auchan is launching the online sale of its items on Leboncoin.

“Welcome to our Auchan store, which is designed to give our products a second life and to (re) give you the pleasure of doing good business!

“, Can we read on the “professional seller” page of all the Auchan stores present on the online sales platform.

Twenty stores across the country took part in a test during the summer of 2022. This proved to be conclusive.

The retail group has therefore launched the formula for all of its hypermarkets, reports

All non-food sectors concerned

The retail group wishes to put on sale the products "slightly damaged but functional, end of series, reconditioned products and other exhibition models", indicates a press release.

Household appliances, furniture, gardening, telephony, multimedia, or soft mobility, all sectors apart from food are concerned.

“These products, which had difficulty leaving in stores, were sleeping in our reserves”, underlines Basile Guérin, director of innovation and strategic partnerships at Auchan.

There is plenty to do business with.

Auchan announces a discount of 50% on average on these products.

Sales management and the choice of products offered are carried out by each store.

For now, the buyer has to travel to pick up the product.

The question of home delivery could come up later.
