The head of the IAEA Grossi announced the launch of the agency's mission at the Rovno NPP

This was announced by the head of the agency Rafael Grossi.

“Today I launched an IAEA support and assistance mission at the Rovno NPP,” Grossi tweeted.

According to him, the IAEA missions at nuclear power plants are designed to provide technical assistance and reduce the nuclear threat during the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier, Grossi called on Kyiv and Moscow to expedite the creation of a protective zone at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
