The home delivery company for food products Place du Marché (formerly Toupargel) was placed in compulsory liquidation on Friday, resulting in the loss of 1,900 jobs, according to a deliberation of the Lyon commercial court, which AFP was able to consult.
This decision was awaited by the employees, in the absence of a candidate for the takeover of the company which had been in receivership since October 2022.
