This is the 6th consecutive month of decline.



The number of employed people in their 20s also decreased by 21,000.

On the other hand, the number of employed people in their 60s and older increased by 440,000.

If the economic slowdown begins in earnest, the rate of increase in the number of employed people, which has been falling for seven consecutive months, could decrease even more rapidly.
