11.9 billion dirhams, the volume of real estate transactions in Ajman during 2022
The Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman announced the registration of 10,448 real estate transactions during the year 2022, with a total value of 11.9 billion dirhams, while the total trading volume amounted to 7.6 billion dirhams, out of a total of 8,399 transactions.
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation, confirmed that the performance of the real estate market in the Emirate of Ajman maintained its rising pace and achieved positive growth levels during the year 2022, recording distinguished numbers that reflect the extent of the attractiveness of the real estate sector in the emirate and the confidence of local and international investors in its business climate. He pointed to the quality of government services, the ease of completing transactions and the diversity of investment opportunities, especially in light of the facilities approved by the government and the elements that the Emirate enjoys thanks to its high competitiveness, growing economy and advanced infrastructure.
He said that the 2022 statistics confirm the suitability of the real estate sector in Ajman for various segments of investors and entrepreneurs, as the strategic geographical location of the Emirate of Ajman is one of the most important factors contributing to the activity and attractiveness of the real estate market, appreciating the efforts of the department and its strategic partners in enhancing the business environment and improving the investment climate in line with the vision of the Emirate Ajman under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
For his part, His Excellency Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, explained that the performance of the real estate sector in Ajman reflects the great boom and qualitative growth of the local economy, which continues steadily to achieve exceptional growth rates, stressing that last November witnessed the achievement of the highest value of transactions during the year 2022 in total 1.4 billion dirhams, while in January of last year the second highest value of real estate transactions was recorded at 1.3 billion dirhams.
He pointed out that the department recorded during the past year 1351 mortgage transactions with a total value of 3.1 billion dirhams, where the highest mortgage value was recorded in the "Al-Tallah 2" area with 231 million dirhams, and the "Al-Amra" region witnessed the highest value of allegiance with 162 million dirhams, while "Al Yasmeen" neighborhood came at the top of the list of the most traded neighborhoods, followed by "Al Zahia" and "Masfout 3". The "Emirates City" project topped the list of the most traded major projects, ahead of "Ajman One" and "Ajman Pearl" projects. .
