On the same day, with the completion of the concrete pouring of the last section of the tower column, among the five main towers, the first main tower of the east tower of the key project Gaolangang Bridge was capped.

  The Huangmaohai Cross-sea Channel is another cross-sea channel project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Shenzhen-China Channel.

The total length of the project route is about 31 kilometers, the length of the sea area is about 15 kilometers, and two main bridges are set up in the cross sea section.

Among them, the Gaolan Port Bridge is a fully floating steel box girder cable-stayed bridge with twin towers and double cable planes with a main span of 700 meters. The total height of the twin towers is 254.7 meters.

  The design of the Gaolan Port Bridge adopts a single-column tower with a curved concrete space and a round-end shape. The cross-section of the tower column gradually changes from circular to round-end and then from round-end to circular. The space shape of a section is constantly changing, resulting in different formwork shapes required, the main tower is difficult to shape, and the construction process is complicated.

  In order to realize the linear change of the space surface of the cross section of the main tower, the builders of the Huangmaohai Sea-crossing Channel divided the whole main tower into 43 sections to make the outer formwork respectively. Each section of the outer formwork is composed of 24 curved plates, and the curved plates are made of It is spliced ​​by several pieces of CNC modeling boards.

Among them, the project innovation adopts the CNC engraving system based on the BIM model, which converts the pre-drawn graphics into coordinate data and imports them into the CNC machine tool, so that the machine tool can automatically produce CNC modeling boards with "millimeter-level" errors, ensuring The standard linear shape of the outer mold of each segment of the main tower.

At present, the project has completed the manufacture of 21,600 CNC modeling panels.

  Zeng Kelin, the project manager of the T3 bid of Huangmaohai Passage of China Communications Road and Bridge Construction Co., Ltd., the contractor of the east tower, said: "As the size of the climbing section of the main tower changes, the project uses a CNC engraving machine to cut the modeling wood to accurately realize 24 arcs. Cutting or repairing the plates, the formwork climbing frame platform also increases or decreases the panels, and finally realizes the goal of climbing the main tower of the small barbarian space surface structure on the sea to the top, and greatly reduces the safety risk of climbing formwork construction.”

  Compared with the high-precision manufacturing of each section of the tower column, the quality and aesthetics of the concrete appearance of the tower body are equally important.

As the curved tower body is more prone to cracking, the Huangmaohai Cross-sea Passage Project established a main tower research team and developed a large-volume active temperature control system based on the cloud, which reduces the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the main tower during the concrete pouring and maintenance process. The final concrete adopts automatic maintenance sprinkler system and windproof canvas covering maintenance measures.

  Shen Dawei, manager of the Engineering Department of Huangmaohai Cross-sea Channel Management Center, said: "When pouring concrete, various new anti-crack materials such as anti-crack fibers and anti-crack agents were added, and used in conjunction with maintenance measures, and achieved good anti-crack effects. And maintenance effect, multiple measures parallel also realized the high-quality construction of each section of the main tower.”

  At present, the construction of the Huangmaohai sea-crossing channel is going smoothly. The key control projects of the Huangmaohai Bridge and the remaining four towers of the Gaolangang Bridge are all over 200 meters in length. It is expected that they will be fully capped in the first half of this year.

The project is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024. After completion, it will form a group of cross-sea and cross-river passages in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area together with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, the Nansha Bridge, and the Humen Bridge, helping the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to form a world level transportation hub.
