Retirees receive up to 35 months of average monthly wages as special severance pay, as well as school expenses, re-employment support, and the opportunity to be re-employed as a contract worker after one year of retirement.



Shinhan Bank also started accepting voluntary retirements on the 2nd.



This year, it is expected that the number of applicants will increase rapidly as the rank and age are lowered to the level of assistant manager and below to 44 years old.



At NH Nonghyup Bank, which recently completed the voluntary retirement process, when the target age was lowered to 40, 490 people, more than 60 more than a year ago, packed their bags.



In addition, more than 3,000 people from the five major banks, including Woori Bank and Hana Bank, are expected to leave for voluntary retirement in about two months from last month to this month.



Compared to a year ago, it is a large number of nearly 1,000 people.



The management side inevitably has to gradually reduce the number of bank employees due to branch reductions, etc., but far more bank employees are choosing voluntary retirement.
