Last week, real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 10 billion dirhams.

According to the weekly report of the disposals issued by the department yesterday, 2173 pledges of allegiance at a value of 7.14 billion dirhams were recorded, of which 270 pledged allegiance to land at a value of 2.25 billion dirhams and 1903 sales of apartments and villas at a value of 4.89 billion dirhams.

The most important land sales, with a value of 623 million dirhams, came in the Dubai Marina area, followed by two sales in the Al Thanyah Fifth area: the first with a value of 77 million dirhams, and the second with a value of 75 million dirhams.

Al-Habibia Al-Fifth topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 133 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 386 million dirhams, followed by the first Jebel Ali region, with 49 pledges of pledge of 228 million dirhams, and a third in the Merkad region, with 12 pledges of 125 million dirhams.

The most important sales of apartments and villas were in the “Island 2” area, where three sales were recorded: the first with a value of 119 million dirhams, the second with a value of 115 million dirhams, while the value of the third sale amounted to 75 million dirhams.

"Business Bay" topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 254 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 461 million dirhams, followed by the Merkad region, with 182 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 255 million dirhams, and a third in the Al Barsha area, south of the Fourth, with 147 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 119 million dirhams.

Mortgages recorded a value of 1.85 billion dirhams, including 73 mortgages for land at a value of 463.45 million dirhams and 355 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 1.38 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Burj Khalifa area at a value of 326 million dirhams and another in the Dubai Maritime City area at a value of 171 million dirhams.

As for donations, 101 donations were recorded, with a value of 1.01 billion dirhams, the most important of which was in the Dubai Marina area, with a value of 192 million dirhams, and the second in the Business Bay area, with a value of 175 million dirhams.
