The data showed that Dubai came second in the list of international destinations in terms of flight search indicators during December 2022, noting that the emirate ranked second over the past year in terms of demand for flights and tourist hotel accommodations for international destinations.

Officials of hotel groups and travel agencies confirmed that Dubai witnessed, during last December, an active tourist season, with the influx of travelers from various international markets, in conjunction with the holiday season, pointing to record occupancy levels in the hotel market.

Finally, the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai revealed the latest statistics on the performance of the tourism sector and the number of international visitors, which showed that the emirate attracted 12.82 million international tourists between January and November 2022, compared to 6.02 million international visitors in the same period last year, an increase It reached about 113%.

According to the department's data, "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of it. Dubai received more than 1.4 million international visitors during November alone, while the total number of visitors during the period between January and October of this year approached levels before the "Corona" pandemic, at a time In it, the indicators of: the number of hotel rooms, nights booked, average daily rate, as well as the average return on the room, exceeded pre-"pandemic" levels as well.
