China News Agency, Beijing, January 5 (Reporter Chen Kangliang) China's A-shares strengthened on the 5th, and all major stock indexes rose.

The representative Shanghai Composite Index opened higher that day and closed up more than 1%, rising continuously in the first three trading days of 2023.

As of the close of the day, the Shanghai Composite Index was at 3155 points, an increase of 1.01%, with a turnover of 335.6 billion yuan (RMB, the same below); the Shenzhen Component Index was at 11332 points, an increase of 2.13%, with a turnover of 507.1 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index was at 2399 points , up 2.76%.

Liu Xinyang, an analyst at Wanlian Securities, said that although the A-share market is still facing a certain degree of shock and adjustment pressure recently, overall, the fundamentals and capital continue to improve.

Especially considering that with the continuous optimization of the new crown epidemic prevention and control policy and the gradual effectiveness of the "steady growth" policy, China's economy is expected to further improve, which will form a strong support for the start of the stock market. It is expected that A shares will continue to fluctuate and strengthen.

Most A-share sectors rose that day.

Among them, the winemaking sector was the biggest gainer, up 3.17% on the day; in terms of individual stocks, Lanzhou Huanghe and Gujing Gongjiu successfully rose by the limit (up 10%), and Kweichow Moutai's stock price also rose by more than 4%.

Zi Meng, an analyst at Guotai Junan Securities, said that according to relevant research, China's mainstream liquor companies are expected to achieve a "good start" in their performance.

The payment collection progress of leading liquor companies is generally in line with expectations. Among them, high-end liquor shows strong channel resilience as a whole, the payment collection rhythm is more stable, and the inventory status is relatively good.

Combined with the current epidemic situation in various parts of China, the progress of payment collection and inventory levels of wine companies, it is expected that the sales trend of liquor during the Spring Festival is expected to be better than market expectations, especially considering that as the impact of the epidemic in some places gradually eases, consumption recovery is expected to come earlier.
