China News Agency, Zhengzhou, January 4th (Reporter Li Chaoqing) The reporter learned from Henan Airport Group on the evening of the 4th that a Boeing 747 cargo plane slowly landed at Zhengzhou Airport on the same day, marking the arrival of Belgian CHG Cargo Airlines from Zhengzhou to Liege. The maiden voyage of an all-cargo regular route was successful.
This is one of the all-cargo airlines newly introduced by Zhengzhou Airport in 2023.
The Zhengzhou-Liege all-cargo regular route launched by Belgian CHG Airlines this time uses the B747-400 aircraft type and plans to operate 2 to 3 flights per week, which will be gradually increased in the later period according to market conditions.
The inaugural flight carried 157 tons of cargo, mainly including mechanical equipment, auto parts, epidemic prevention materials, cross-border e-commerce and mail.
At the beginning of the new year, Henan Airport Group has made every effort to promote the construction of an international air cargo hub, accelerate the introduction of cargo airlines, and continue to improve the hub route network.
As of the end of 2022, the cumulative number of all-cargo airlines operating at Zhengzhou Airport has reached 32, and 44 all-cargo routes have been opened, including 36 international regions. A network of international freight routes supported by multiple points.
