  The C919 aircraft with the registration number B-919A will start the verification flight on December 26, 2022. It is planned to fly 100 hours on 9 routes. According to the latest plan, the C919 aircraft will also take off from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and fly to Qingdao, Wuhan, Nanchang, Jinan and other destinations, the verification flight will continue until mid-February 2023.

The verification flight is mainly to verify the airline's ability to safely operate the C919 aircraft, including the applicability and operability of relevant standards, regulations and procedures, various professional systems, and the safe operation guarantee capabilities of various professionals, so as to ensure the commercial flight of C919 Safer and more efficient.

The verification flight will simulate the entire flight operation process, including dispatch and release, passenger boarding, pilot operation, maintenance, etc.

Afterwards, the Civil Aviation Administration of China will conduct verification and inspection of the verification results, and after confirming that China Eastern Airlines has the ability to operate the C919 aircraft safely, it will issue the corresponding operating permit.
