China's State Administration of Taxation launched a series of measures to facilitate tax payment

　　China News Agency, Beijing, January 3 (Reporter Zhao Jianhua) China's State Administration of Taxation announced on the 3rd that it will carry out the "Spring Breeze Action for Convenience of Taxation for the People" for the 10th consecutive year this year.

This year, 17 measures in six aspects to facilitate tax payment by the public will be launched first, and a series of follow-up measures will be launched in batches in the future to solve practical problems for taxpayers and payers, and create a high-quality tax business environment.

　　In order to understand the actual needs of taxpayers and payers, starting from late October 2022, the State Administration of Taxation organized provincial tax bureaus to collect opinions and suggestions nationwide.

Among them, 1.4115 million households were solicited for opinions from taxpayers and 105,500 tax cadres.

　　According to the State Administration of Taxation, the first batch of 17 measures launched this year, including expanding the scope of priority tax refund personnel for individual income tax final settlement and payment, supporting taxpayers to directly use RMB to pay taxes overseas through online declarations, etc. Pilot areas promote the realization of digital renminbi to pay taxes and fees, explore and optimize the newly established tax credit review mechanism for taxpayers, etc.

　　The relevant person in charge of the Tax Service Department of the State Administration of Taxation stated that since the launch of the "Spring Breeze Action for Convenience in Tax Handling" in 2014, by the end of 2022, the State Administration of Taxation has launched a total of 523 innovative service measures in 54 categories, 197 items, and tax authorities in various regions have introduced 40,000 measures in detail. The rest of the supporting measures, the refinement, intelligence, and convenience of tax and fee services are getting higher and higher, the experience of tax payment is getting better and better, and the satisfaction, compliance and sense of gain of taxpayers and fee payers are getting stronger and stronger .

This year, closely following the needs of taxpayers and payers, we will continue to launch and implement various measures of the "Spring Breeze Action to Convenience Tax Administration for the People".
