  Nanning Airport plans to gradually resume routes to capitals and key cities of ASEAN countries such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Manila on the basis of increasing the number of existing international passenger routes, and accelerate the restoration of Nanning's international passenger routes.

  At the same time, focusing on the layout of the ASEAN route network, Nanning Airport has opened 7 new routes and increased 8 routes throughout the year. At present, it has opened more than 16 international cargo routes, and the routes reach Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India and other ASEAN and South Asian countries have a capacity of 6 all-cargo aircraft stationed on site.

  According to data provided by Nanning Airport, in 2022, Nanning Airport will guarantee a total of 66,000 flight movements; passenger throughput of 6.66 million; cargo and mail throughput of 152,000 tons, of which international cargo and mail throughput exceeded 70,000 tons.

Its passenger throughput ranks 27th among Chinese airports, an increase of one place compared to 2021; the growth rate of transportation and passenger throughput is higher than that of China's tens of millions of airports and the average level of national civil aviation.

  In 2022, Nanning Airport will have 52 airlines participating in the operation of a total of 195 routes, including 176 domestic routes and 19 international regional routes; 121 navigable cities, including 103 domestic cities and 18 international regional cities; The airline has nearly 10 new aircraft on site, and the on-site capacity exceeds 50 aircraft in a single day.

  Guangxi is the only province in China that is adjacent to the land and sea of ​​ASEAN countries. It is a key node of the new land-sea corridor in the west and a gateway where land and sea meet.

In recent years, Guangxi has continuously improved the construction of transportation and logistics infrastructure, improved the level of land, sea and air connectivity, and accelerated the construction of an international channel facing ASEAN.
