China News Service, Xi'an, January 1 (Reporter Alina) The reporter learned from PetroChina Changqing Oilfield on the 1st that as of 22:00 on December 31, 2022, China's largest oil and gas field - Changqing Oilfield's annual production of oil and gas equivalent breakthrough 65 million tons, reaching 65.0155 million tons, creating the highest annual oil and gas production record of China's oil and gas fields.

This is another historic leap achieved by Changqing Oilfield after breaking through 60 million tons in 2020.

According to reports, the oil and gas resources in the Ordos Basin are typical "three low" (low pressure, low permeability, and low abundance) oil and gas reservoirs in the world, and economic and effective development is a worldwide problem.

After half a century of exploration and practice, Changqing Oilfield has mastered the initiative to continuously acquire oil and gas resources in the basin, creating a miracle of rapid growth of unconventional oil and gas in China.

Entering the 21st century, Changqing Oilfield has focused on basin geological evolution, oil and gas generation, and storage mechanism research, and has formed an original geological theory for rapid discovery and economical and effective development. The main technology of volume fracturing has successively proven 4 billion-ton and 4 trillion-cubic-meter-scale oil and gas areas, and the cumulative proven oil and gas reserves account for 1/3 of China's and "half of CNPC's total."

Since 2012, Changqing Oilfield has continued to increase reserves and production, focusing on basic research on unconventional oil and gas resources, theoretical understanding, and bottleneck technology, making breakthroughs in key core technologies for efficient exploration and development of ultra-low permeability oil fields, shale oil fields, and tight gas fields. Promote the discovery of oil and gas resources, accelerate the conversion of recoverable reserves, and let the "three low" oil and gas reservoirs burst out with huge energy.

In 2013, a world-class extra-large oil and gas field with an annual output of 50 million tons was built, and by 2020, the oil and gas production will exceed 60 million tons.

It is reported that Changqing Oilfield has successfully developed 35 oil fields and 13 gas fields, with a cumulative contribution of over 890 million tons of oil and gas equivalent.

In 2022, the Changqing Oilfield will have an oil and gas production capacity of over 10 million tons. 2,210 oil wells and 2,338 gas wells will be put into production throughout the year, with an additional daily output of 6,170 tons of crude oil and 31 million cubic meters of natural gas.
