Dubai International Chamber attracts the largest agricultural products company in Zimbabwe

Dubai Chamber International, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, helped the agricultural products company «Nimbe Fresh Exports», which is considered one of the largest exporters of vegetables and fruits in Zimbabwe, to expand its commercial activity in Dubai, by providing logistics services and financing partners.

And the Chamber stated in a statement yesterday that “Nembe”, which is headquartered in Zimbabwe, is one of the leading exporters of blueberries, strawberries, berries and peas in Africa.

Most of its exports go to the United States of America and Europe, while the company is currently exporting strawberries to Dubai, and is working to expand the scope of production with the support of the Dubai International Chamber to increase the spread of its products in the market, while also benefiting from Dubai's strategic location to expand in the markets of the Far East region.

The expansion of "Nimbi" business in Dubai supports the emirate's vision to increase the volume of its non-oil foreign trade from 1.4 trillion to 2 trillion dirhams between 2021 and 2026.

Omar Khan, Executive Director of Foreign Offices at Dubai International Chamber, said: “In addition to its pivotal role in helping local companies expand in global markets, Dubai International Chamber is also working to attract foreign direct investment from major markets of strategic importance to Dubai.”
